Re: KUMB reporting that we're considering offering £15 mil for Song
FFP is wages only. A fee isn't a problem if the owners wish to spend the money. They have already proven that they will invest.

Re: KUMB reporting that we're considering offering £15 mil for Song
As I understand it FFP is only for wages not the transfer fees

So if a club came in for Nolan we could pay him of with the fee we would get to match he's loss in wages

Am I getting this right ?

There is no way he's worth to us 50k a week now

I wonder if Barcelona would notice if we gave Carroll back to them, instead of Song?

Bloody hell Nolan was given a bloody silly contract. I know he got us out the champion but looks like it will cost us 10 million with him passed his used by.

Mike i thought Nolan was out 2015 summer with a possible 2 years options. Not sure who's favour the option was in.

QPR maybe? Wonder if we'd consider paying him off in someway or sharing his wages for the remainder of his contract? To me he'd be the obvious one to try and offload.

Obama, id like to think a club trying to get promotion might come in for him but there's not many who could or would match the terms he's on with us. Jarvis is probably the only one we will get a few million for

I think he has 18 months left (unfortunately).

Jarvis was linked to West Brom towards the end of the last window wasn't he. I could see that happening if they come back in. I think £7.5m was mentioned...can imagine it being closer to £5m, but at this stage I'd snap of their hand.

HH, is he out of contract next year or does he have another 18 months?

Re: KUMB reporting that we're considering offering £15 mil for Song
Nolan is out of contract and is on $76000 a week i understand our 3rd highest earner. I know there is options in his contract. Would love Song to stay.

Re: KUMB reporting that we're considering offering £15 mil for Song
I reckon Morrison will go for free, as will Vaz Te and Cole. We might be able to get a few million for Jarvis if someone wanted to take a punt, but he'd still end up losing us a bucketload.

Re: KUMB reporting that we're considering offering £15 mil for Song
the sensible move/s would be to sell Morrison for whatever we can get and let Demel go back to Hamburg. id love Morrison to fulfil his potential but Allardyce doesn't want him around so why keep him?

Fucking exciting news. Would love him to come permanently. Would be a massive sign of the clubs ambitions.
